Product Description: Articient's patenting-pending Canvas Alignment Kit takes the stress and headache out of installing canvas art in a floater frame. With the Canvas Aligment Kit, centering and securing a canvas in a floater frame can be fast and relatively easy. Traditional methods (wood scraps, cardboard, business cards) lead to poor alignment and instability.  The Canvas Alignment Kit is a tool-free, reusable system designed to make floater frame canvas installation quick, consistent, and secure. 

• 8 Bumper Cards - Rigid plastic with a soft, non-slip biopolymer pad. Two per frame side, eight total (reusable)

• Frame and Canvas Depth: Standard (Tall) alignment kits are for use with most Articient floater frames (rabbet depth over 1") including deep floaters. Shallow kits are for use with shallow floater frames only (Hanover and Huger).  Shallow kits are generally used for 3/4" thick canvas.

Installation Instructions

1. Insert a bumper card into the float space with the padded side facing the canvas. Use two bumper cards per side, near each corner (eight total).

2. Place one spacer card behind each bumper card and insert additional cards in between as needed. Do not force cards against the frame or artwork.

3. Make sure there are the same number of cards on opposite sides.

4. Once secured, you can safely rotate the frame and attach the artwork with the screws provided.

Installation Tips:

1. Tip #1 - Adjust pressure by inserting spacer cards fully (preferred) or partially (if needed) between the bumper card and outer card.

2. Tip # 2 - Cards are designed for a ¼” standard float. Remember to measure your artwork BEFORE ordering your frame to ensure the correct float. “Standard-size” canvases are often mis-sized.

3. Tip #3 - For larger floats, use more spacer cards. For smaller floats (less than ¼”) try using the bumper cards on one side and several spacer cards (6 or 7) on the other side without the bumper card.
