Ready-to-Assemble Frames: Your Ultimate Guide

Constructing Articient's Ready-to-Assemble frames is uncomplicated and fulfilling. Utilizing dovetail keys and specialized frame adhesive, the procedure is easy.

Here's a detailed video-guide to accomplish this task effortlessly ↓

Start Right

Preparing Your Workspace↓

Find a clean, flat area. Ensure it's spacious. This setup makes assembly smooth and hassle-free.

Lay Out Your Included Ready-to-Assemble Frame Kit ↓

Lay out all the pieces, and arrange each part. It's similar to creating a blueprint. Keep track of which keys fit into which slots (longer/shorter, etc).

Keeping things Intact

Using the Articient Adhesive ↓

Open your Articient glue. It's made for these frames. Apply a thin layer to dovetail slots and frame edges. Be precise to avoid spills. The glue dries clear if you're curious.

Assembly Begins

Partially Insert the Dovetail Keys ↓

Now, start with the dovetail keys. Insert them no more than halfway at first. This allows room for adjustments. Ensure the rounded side of the key faces into the frame. Match the key lengths with their respective slots.

Verify Alignment

Adjust As Needed ↓

Verify the alignment of the corners on the front of the frame, and adjust the dovetail keys if needed to secure the frame's structure.

Secure the Frame

Tap the Keys ↓

Once all four corners have keys inserted, gently tap or press each key all the way in. A hammer or rubber mallet may be needed. This secures the frame without damage.

Ensure a Clean Finish

Remove Excess Glue↓

Wipe excess glue with a damp cloth to keep the frame clean. Always wear gloves. Glue can irritate the skin. Our glue will dry clear, but it is better to wipe it off at this point for a clean finish

Cement Your Work

Allow the Frame to Set ↓

Leave the ready-to-assemble frame to set for a few hours. (Overnight if possible.) The longer it sets, the stronger it becomes.
